Since October 2015, CNS has been part of the collaborative city-wide project Philadelphia Assembled (PHLA) where we have been the lead artistic editor for the Futures Atmosphere–a working group of artists and change makers from the city who were invited to collaborate in the design of the Atmosphere’s project. In October, 2016 our working group conceived the idea of the Mobile Futures Institute (MFI) and by May 1st of 2017, the MFI has been up and running. Currently, our working group is in the middle of prototyping events and workshops in the public phase, as well as, for the PHLA’s exhibition phase in the Perelman Building of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
